Le chapitre 5 concerne donc les phrases fréquemment utilisées quand on fait du shopping 🛍️ ou des courses 🛒 en France.

Je l’ai divisé en 3 catégories :

1. Dans un magasin de vêtements / chaussures

2. Au marché

3. Payer et finaliser l’achat

Chaque phrase est accompagnée de sa traduction en anglais et de la prononciation : je prononce chacune des phrases 🗣️

Pour rester poli(e), utilise toujours le “vous” et ajoute “s’il vous plait”, “merci”, “excusez-moi”.

Today is chapter 5 of my e-book “200 key phrases for everyday life in France”.

I remind you that the e-book is reserved for paying subscribers of the Newsletter.

For each chapter, you have 20 sentences in a theme of everyday life with the audio and the English translation.

Important information: the sentences and questions are formulated in a natural way, not too formal (no subject-verb inversion) while being polite!

Chapter 5 is about frequently used phrases when shopping 🛍️ or running errands 🛒 in France.

I divided it into 3 categories:

1. In a clothing/shoe store

2. At the market

3. Paying and finalizing the purchase

Each phrase is accompanied by its English translation and pronunciation: I pronounce each phrase 🗣️

To remain polite, always use “vous” and add “s’il vous plaît”, “merci”, “excusez-moi”.

1. Bonjour, vous avez ce modèle en taille M ? – Hi, do you have this model in size M?

2. Vous avez ces chaussures en 39 ? – Do you have these shoes in size 39?

3. S’il vous plait, je cherche les cabines d’essayage. – Please, I'm looking for the fitting rooms.

4. Je peux essayer cette robe / ce pantalon ? – Can I try on this dress / these pants?

5. Ce vêtement est un peu trop grand / petit pour moi. – This clothing item is a bit too big / small for me.
